For those that don’t know, I am a military instructor. I’ve recently moved to a different position where I am the sole instructor a two pieces of equipment that we use in our career field. I’m teaching my third class today and while I love teaching, there is one very annoying effect. Most of you know that I can talk; I can talk plenty. That’s a good thing in my courses because most of it is lecture. Well after lecturing for 6 hours, I get the worst sore throat. I almost dread day two of the class. But I guess that’s where coffee comes in to save the day in the morning. Also on the luck side, day two is all hands-on training and requires a lot less talking! By the way, I’m having mid-afternoon coffee right now before returning to the classroom :)
